Therefore, we have set a clear goal: by 2030, our operations will become climate neutral. To achieve this, we plan and implement our actions based on recognized international standards.   We have implemented the ISO 14001 system, meet our clients’ environmental protection requirements, and undergo regular audits.

We have taken action in three areas — measurement, reduction, and compensation — and our team continuously seeks new solutions to lower our carbon footprint.

We have analyzed our processes and the impact of our supply chain to estimate the size of our carbon footprint. Each year, we update our data and monitor the effectiveness of the actions taken. Within the first three years, we reduced CO2 emissions by approximately. 30%.

We carry out CO2 emission reduction through a series of improvements in our infrastructure, reducing energy consumption, and reorganizing transportation processes. To meet our clients’ needs, we have expanded cooperation with suppliers to provide environmentally friendly packaging and raw materials from sustainable crops. Together with our employees, we engage in eco-friendly initiatives both within the company and in everyday life, such as waste segregation and reducing water and energy consumption.

In addition to reducing CO2 emissions, we undertake compensatory actions that positively impact the natural environment. We systematically increase the share of “green energy” purchased from external providers. Currently, 75% of the energy we obtain comes from renewable sources. We also produce energy ourselves — in 2022, we completed the installation of a 100 kWp photovoltaic system on our facility premises.

As a company with long-standing traditions and one of the largest employers in the region, we have become a permanent part of the local landscape. We feel responsible for our employees and their families, most of whom are local residents.
